Update #3 - First Level & Controls


This week I started building the levels.



The first level (Thoughtscape)

In earlier versions of the game I was using a single color for the skybox and there was heavy fog. I am looking to keep the fog because of its dissolving effect but I decided to replace the skybox with a default one. It looks good with the camera effects and it lights up the scene which keeps the game from giving a horror-type feeling.

I also edited the controls. Now the player uses a space key to elevate and there is also clamping on the mouse. I figured if  I'm getting disoriented this much other players would struggle more. Now the controls are much easier to handle and it still has that "light" feeling.
